Baby's first Halloween

This year was Lincoln's first Halloween, and i know he was too little to go out trick-or-treating, but i still bought him a cute pumpkin costume and dressed him up first thing that morning. i know you don't usually dress your kids up til it gets dark, but i figured that he wouldn't be able to wear it again, so i might as well get all the use out of it as i can. i know it was more fun for me than it was for his since he slept through the whole evening, but i sure enjoyed showing him off to all the neighborhood trick-or-treaters.
i got so many compliments on how cute he was.
i can't wait til next year when he might be able
to enjoy it a little bit more!

Sanders Family

Steve and I were married on October 12th, 2006 at
the Eldridge Manor and then were later sealed for
time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple
on October 12, 2007. We thought at the time that
nothing could possibly make us any happier than
to be together forever....that is until September
25th, 2008 when we were blessed with our BEAUTIFUL
baby boy, Lincoln Travis Sanders. He weighed 5 lbs
15 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. Ever since that
day, our lives have not been dull at all. i know
that everyone thinks that new borns don't do much,
but Lincoln seems to keep us entertained! While
most newborns make little "coo" sounds, Lincoln
makes little grunts and growls, and occasionlly
he will make farm animal noises. I think his
favorite is the sheep. but he also makes puppy
and horsey sounds. its adorable! Its amazing to
me that our Heavenly Father has trusted us with
one of his precious children to raise and teach
the gospel to. there are moments when i get
overwhelmed thinking about how tough its going
to be, but at the same time i am so excited to
be his mother and teach him everything i know!
I never knew i could love someone so much!
