Outside Adventures

The weather was nice one day last week so I took the opportunity to take my boys out to play. I filled a bucket up with water and took some of their bath toys out. They had so much fun splashing and playing in the water.

Mason loved to run around. It was like he was finally free after being cooped up all winter long.

Lincoln of course had to bring his trains outside. He takes them everywhere he goes.

Marker Fun

One saturday afternoon I put the boys down for a nap. They usually play around for about an hour or so before they actually fall asleep. I heard them in their room laughing and I could tell they were have a lot of fun doing something in there. But never would have imagined that this is what I would find. Steve put the box of markers on a shelf that they could reach, not thinking that they would find it and get into it. Needless to say...I think he learned his lesson.

Zoo Adventures

My kids LOVE the zoo! Especially the train. If anyone who knows Lincoln he is OBSESSED with any kind of train. So when we go to the zoo, that is the first thing he wants to do. We have always liked going to the zoo, but this time was a lot of fun now that the boys are getting older, they actually enjoy looking at the animals, especially the monkeys.

Riding the "Choo choo"

Another favorite thing to do at the zoo is ride the carousel. At first they were a little scared, but once it started going, they had so much fun!

Mason loved these rocks for some reason. He just kepts switching back and forth from one to the other. He would sit on one for a few seconds, then get up and go sit on the other. Then repeat it over again. He probably would have done that all day if I let him.

Easter with the Newland Family

My brother and his fiance went out on Easter afternoon and hid a TON of eggs for the Newland grandkids to find. There are only four grandkids, so each child got like a bazillion eggs...

Easter with the Sanders Family

This year we had fun taking the boys out on some Easter egg hunts. They had so much fun looking for eggs!

This just after the Kaysville City Easter egg hunt. Link and Mason only got like one egg each, but it was still fun for them to run around and look.

We had a hard time getting all the grandkids to sit still and pose for a picture after the Sanders Family egg hunt. They were too wound up.

I think my kids were the worst ones...doesn't surprise me.

Lincoln smashed his hand in someone's frosting and he got really upset about it. I thought it was pretty funny.

Almost There

Well, our bathroom is slowly coming coming along. How come that such a small project ends up actually being really long and tedious? But finally after knocking out the chimney, redoing the plumbing (and going a few weeks with out a bathroom sink), and putting in new electrical sockets, it is almost done. I am so excited to finally get it done. We were finally able to put up the drywall and move the sink over next to the toilet so we could have more leg room. It has been so nice!

See all the leg room we have now?

This is where the sink is now. Its so much more spacious with it next to the toilet instead of in front of it.

This is the tiling that Steve did before he moved the sink over. Its not quite finished in this picture. The end result looked amazing! I am so proud of him and his handy work.

This is where the chimney used to be. Thanks to my wonderful dad and husband who put so much work into putting up the drywall.
